Job Description Professionalism in customer service
Transport and handle dangerous goods in a truck tractor with a tanked trailer
Load and unload goods
Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
Perform brake adjustments
Perform emergency roadside repairs
Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
Perform preventive maintenance
Receive and relay information to central dispatch
Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Drive truck tractor and tanker trailer
Requirements Education Completion of secondary education is required.




Experience At least 7 months of experience is required. Be eligible to obtain a class 1 MELT license.
Documentation knowledge Accident or incident reports, Bill of landing, Dangerous goods occurrence reports, Driver logbook, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Maintenance and repair reports, Trip reports

Important Information Work is Monday through Saturday, shifts scheduled between 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Overtime and work on holidays will be required depending on the business needs.
