Support the mission of Valuable Shepherd as a Community Mental Health Worker, based in Niagara Falls. Work closely with individuals facing mental health and homelessness challenges, enhancing their quality of life.

In this role, you will provide vital support to residents in our 24-hour housing program, working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. You’ll deliver personalized assistance, crisis intervention, and education tailored to residents' needs. Your efforts will help individuals achieve independence and contribute to community wellbeing while adhering to harm reduction approaches.

Key Responsibilities:
• Offer personalized assistance to residents in housing
• Conduct case management and supportive counselling sessions
• Educate on harm reduction resources and strategies




• Identify community needs for program development
• Ensure compliance with safety and documentation protocols

Requirements:
• Relevant degree or diploma in health or human services
• At least 2 years in social services or mental health
• Understanding of community resources and development strategies
• Effective conflict resolution and communication skills
• Commitment to anti-racist and anti-oppressive practices
