This is a strategic sales leadership opportunity focused on growing revenue and market presence across the Canadian government technology sector.
You will lead a high-performing team of Account Executives serving government agencies at the federal, provincial, and local levels.
The role combines sales strategy, team development, forecasting, account planning, and operational excellence.
You will coach your team through complex enterprise opportunities while building strong relationships with public-sector stakeholders.
Your insights will help shape market strategy, identify customer needs, and influence product direction.

Accountabilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of Account Executives, fostering accountability, coaching, continuous improvement, and strong sales execution.
- Set sales strategies, objectives, quotas, and priorities aligned with broader business goals.
- Drive revenue growth and market expansion across Canadian government agencies at federal, provincial, and local levels.
- Manage forecasting, budget planning, and proactive variance management to deliver financial results.
- Coach Account Executives through complex $100K+ deals, supporting effective account planning, pipeline management, and customer engagement.
- Expand the customer base through strategic account planning, vertical marketing initiatives, and relationship-building with key public-sector stakeholders.
- Provide market intelligence and customer insights to support strategic planning and identify opportunities for product development.
- Identify competitive trends, platform opportunities, and evolving customer needs,
sharing relevant insights across the organization.
- Improve sales operations by analyzing trends, resolving challenges, strengthening processes, and supporting scalable systems and change initiatives.
- Drive consistent performance against quarterly quota targets while maintaining a customer-first approach.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams, preferably within the government technology or public-sector technology space.
- Experience managing Account Executives and coaching teams through complex enterprise sales opportunities, including $100K+ deals.
- Strong understanding of the Canadian government technology landscape and the dynamics of federal, provincial, and local government agencies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage sales strategy, account planning, quotas, forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline performance.
- Proven success recruiting, developing, and retaining sales talent while creating a culture of accountability and growth.
- Strategic and data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyze trends, improve processes, and implement operational changes.
- Strong customer relationship-building skills and the ability to identify new opportunities and translate customer needs into business insights.
- Excellent prioritization and organizational skills, with the flexibility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive, goal-oriented mindset with the drive and resilience to consistently pursue and exceed quarterly targets.
