Role: Project Manager (IT)

Location: Edmonton, Alberta – Remote with up to 15% travel to Edmonton

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to manage multiple high-priority technology initiatives within a public-sector workplace. The role will involve project planning, stakeholder and vendor management, governance, risk management, and delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple IT projects from initiation through completion.
Develop project plans, schedules, charters, status reports, risk logs, and other project deliverables.
Coordinate cybersecurity, infrastructure, and SharePoint migration initiatives.
Manage project timelines, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, and budgets.
Lead stakeholder meetings and communicate project status to sponsors and senior stakeholders.
Coordinate vendors, technical teams,



and multiple organizational groups.
Support governance, procurement, change management, and transition activities.
Ensure projects align with organizational policies, standards, and objectives.

Required Qualifications
8+ years of IT Project Management experience.
Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
Experience with large and complex IT projects.
Experience with cybersecurity, infrastructure, or server remediation projects.
Experience with SharePoint migrations.
Solid stakeholder and vendor management experience.
Solid project planning, governance, risk, and issue management skills.
Experience working with public-sector or large enterprise organizations.
Active PMP or PGMP certification required.
