This role seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong preference for underground shaft sinking project expertise. You will have the opportunity to collaborate across a multidisciplinary team of about 60 engineers. Engage with clients and vendors, and contribute to the design and study work for various projects in the pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design efforts for underground shaft sinking operations
• Work collaboratively within a large engineering team
• Interact with clients to ensure project needs are accurately addressed




• Identify and source necessary equipment and professional services
• Execute study work for new client initiatives and EPC projects

Requirements:
• Significant experience with underground engineering design
• Strong background in consulting engineering, ideally with Stantec
• Competence in working with hoist systems is essential
• Willingness to participate in occasional site visits
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
