The UNC Department of Neurology seeks a dedicated clinician for its Comprehensive Neurology division. This fixed-term Clinical track position prioritizes teaching and clinical excellence without stroke or NeuroICU burdens. Emphasizing a team-based approach, you will mentor medical students and residents while managing inpatient neurology effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive inpatient neurology and consultative services
• Educate medical students and residents in a hands-on environment
• Participate in shared weekend coverage on rotation




• Manage daily patient loads of 10-15 primary and 5-8 consults
• Access research opportunities to enhance neurologic care delivery

Requirements:
• MD or DO degree from accredited institution
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in neurology
• Fellowship training in Neurohospitalist Medicine or related experience
• Medical licensure eligibility in North Carolina
• Commitment to educational excellence and research involvement
