Job Description: Position Summary Under the supervision of the Capital Works Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for maintaining contracted assets (Bridges, culverts, roadways, medians, signs, guardrails, fences, tunnels, vegetation, etc.) per standards and conditions specified in the contract.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities Winter Season Removal of snow and ice by using snow removal and/or sanding equipment.
Summer Season Clean, Maintain and repair: bridges, culverts, shoulders, signs, guiderail and other highway inventory.
Operate vehicles and equipment as required : for surface and right-of-way maintenance and repair of bridges, culverts, shoulders, etc.
As Required Traffic control setup and removal in accordance with OTM Book 7
Transport crew and equipment to work sites
Be available for emergency response rotations as needed for overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Other duties as assigned by the Contract Manager.

Ability to communicate with co-workers/subcontractors, understand and follow verbal and written safety instructions. Ability to think clearly and focus on your safety in your immediate surroundings, while using tools and equipment, while driving or operating equipment.
You will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate to your job.
Education and Experience High School Diploma / GED required
Minimum of three (3) years related work experience in bridge/road construction and maintenance (outdoor work
-Preferred)
Minium DZ driver's licen
