This is a site-based position with the successful candidate expected to work regularly at the West Cache project site.

About the Company

Galleon Gold and its wholly owned subsidiary Explor Resources is advancing its 100%-owned West Cache Gold Project, located approximately 13 km west of Timmins, Ontario. The Company has commenced underground development for an 86,500 tonnes bulk sample program.

Position Summary

Explor Resources Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Galleon Gold Corp. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mine Geologist to join the West Cache team in Timmins, Ontario.

Reporting to the VP Exploration/General Manager, the Mine Geologist will play an important role in supporting underground development, geological data collection, grade control, sampling and the successful execution of the bulk sample program.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide geological support for underground development and mining activities.
- Conduct underground geological mapping, face mapping and structural interpretation.
- Perform systematic chip/channel sampling and ensure samples are properly collected, documented and submitted for assay.
- Support grade control activities, including definition of mineralized zones and ore/waste contacts.
- Monitor and document geology encountered during underground development and stoping.
- Work closely with the underground mining contractor, mine engineering, survey and operations teams to ensure geological information is incorporated into mine planning and execution.
- Assist with underground diamond drilling programs, including planning, core logging, sampling and interpretation.




- Maintain accurate geological databases, maps, sections and three-dimensional geological models.
- Conduct QA/QC procedures for geological sampling and assay data.
- Review and interpret assay results and communicate significant results to the project team.
- Assist with reconciliation of geological predictions against mined material and production results.
- Contribute to resource definition and resource expansion programs as required.
- Maintain accurate geological records and ensure all work is completed in accordance with Company procedures and applicable regulations.
- Promote a strong safety culture and participate in site safety initiatives.
- Other geological duties as required to support the advancement of the West Cache Gold Project.

Qualifications & Experience

- B.Sc. or B.A.Sc. in Geology, Geological Engineering or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of relevant geological experience, preferably with underground mining or underground development experience.
- Experience with underground mapping, sampling and grade control is considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of structural geology and mineralized systems.
- Experience with diamond drill core logging and interpretation.
- Familiarity with geological databases and 3D geological modelling software.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; experience with Leapfrog, Datamine, Deswik,



Vulcan or similar geological/mine planning software is an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and in an active underground mining environment.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional extended hours or weekends as required by the mining program.
- Previous experience in the Timmins mining camp or a similar Archean gold environment is an asset.

Safety & Work Environment The successful candidate will be required to work safely in an active underground mining environment and comply with all applicable health and safety requirements, Company policies and site procedures.

Underground work will require the use of appropriate personal protective equipment and completion of all required site-specific training.
