Job Title: Orthodontic Dental Assistant – Invisalign & Patient Care

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and motivated Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will support the orthodontist during patient care, assist with Invisalign cases, and help establish efficient clinical systems and workflows within the office.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment before appointments
- Assist the orthodontist during consultations, bonding, debonding, adjustments, and emergency visits
- Support Invisalign appointments, including digital scans, photographs, attachments, IPR preparation, and delivery of aligners, as permitted
- Review aligner wear, care instructions, and oral hygiene with patients
- Take orthodontic records, including photographs, digital scans, and radiographs, according to qualifications and applicable regulations
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection-control standards
- Maintain accurate patient charts and clinical documentation
- Help organize orthodontic supplies, inventory, equipment, and treatment areas
- Assist with setting up orthodontic systems and efficient office workflows
- Provide patients with a welcoming, comfortable, and professional experience
- Coordinate with the orthodontist, front desk,



and other team members to keep the schedule running smoothly

Qualifications

- Previous dental or orthodontic assisting experience
- Experience with Invisalign or clear aligner treatment is an asset
- Familiarity with digital scanning and orthodontic photography is an asset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Friendly, skilled, and comfortable communicating with patients of all ages
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and help build an organized orthodontic department
