Oversee shelter operations at The Mustard Seed in Kamloops, BC as a Housing Focused Shelter Team Lead. Deliver person-centered care while leading a dedicated team towards effective crisis management.

In this full time role, you will report directly to the Shelter Manager, supervising daily operations and mentoring Shelter Workers. Your leadership will be essential in maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive space for guests, driving efficiency, and ensuring communication flows smoothly among team members and clients alike.

Key Responsibilities: • Train and supervise shelter staff and volunteers • Oversee shift tasks and responsibilities • Facilitate case management for shelter clients • Enforce shelter rules and provide conflict resolution • Maintain explicit communication and coverage for absences

Requirements: • Diploma in Human Services or Social Work preferred • 2+ years of relevant frontline experience • Solid interpersonal and conflict resolution skills • Certification in First Aid and Crisis Intervention • Proficiency in MS Office products
