Humber River Health seeks a Dietary Aide to elevate our Food Services team, focusing on patient care and excellent nutrition. Join us to help provide diverse dining experiences for our patients.

In this role, you will assist with food preparations, portioning, and tray passing. The Dietary Aide will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment while working collaboratively with the Food Services team. A strong commitment to quality and effective communication skills are vital in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and portion food for patient meals
• Keep kitchen areas clean and sanitized
• Collaborate in washing dishes and cooking tools
• Manage waste disposal and recycling processes
• Ensure kitchen is stocked with supplies

Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 3+ years of experience in food service in a hospital setting
• Must hold a Food Handlers Certificate
• Knowledge in secure food handling practices necessary
• Ability to lift 25 lbs or more routinely
