A national law firm is seeking an experienced business development leader to drive its growth strategy across Canada.Reporting to a member of the executive leadership team, the Director will focus on revenue growth, strategic markets, client development, and team leadership. This hands-on role requires strategic thinking, executive presence, and a robust understanding of relationship-based business development.Responsibilities
Develop and implement the firm’s national business development strategyIdentify market trends, growth opportunities, and priority sectorsWork with partners and practice group leaders to strengthen client relationships and identify cross-practice opportunitiesLead proposals, pitches, and presentations for key clients and prospective businessMonitor performance metrics and provide strategic market intelligenceRepresent the firm at industry and networking eventsLead, mentor,

At least ten years of business development experience, preferably in legal or qualified servicesBachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field;
MBA considered an assetProven success in revenue growth and senior-level client developmentStrong leadership and team management experienceStrategic, analytical, and results-oriented mindsetExcellent executive communication, presentation, and relationship-building skillsStrong organizational skills and sound judgmentProficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
