Lead process engineering activities on SAGD and thermal oil sands projectsManage process engineering scope, schedules, deliverables, and prioritiesOversee development of process simulations,



heat and material balances, PFDs, and P&IDsSupport; project execution from feasibility studies through commissioning and start-upCoordinate with project managers, clients, vendors, and multidisciplinary teamsParticipate in design reviews, HAZOPs, risk assessments, and technical discussionsProvide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering teamsIdentify and mitigate technical risks while maintaining quality and safety standardsRequirements
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related disciplinePossess a Qualified Engineer (P.Eng.) designationDemonstrate extensive process engineering experience within the oil and gas industryBring significant experience supporting SAGD and thermal oil sands projectsHave proven success leading multidisciplinary engineering teamsShow experience within EPCM, consulting, or owner-operator environmentsDemonstrate expertise supporting projects from studies and FEED through start-upExhibit solid knowledge of Aspen HYSYS, process design, and thermal oil sands facilities
