Southbridge is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor for its Scarborough long-term care home. This full-time role is pivotal in creating a safe, functional environment for our residents and staff.

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will manage maintenance operations and report to the Environmental Services Manager. Drawing on your supervisory experience and mechanical skills, you will ensure optimal facility maintenance and compliance with safety standards. You will be instrumental in enhancing the quality of care at Southbridge.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement Preventive and Demand Maintenance Programs
• Perform repair tasks including painting and plumbing
• Conduct Life Safety equipment inspections




• Secure secure storage and organization of tools
• Document maintenance activities and report to management

Requirements:
• High School diploma; trade certificate beneficial
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in related settings
• Strong mechanical skills and proficiency in English
• Familiarity with WHMIS and safety standards
• Completed vulnerable sector check upon hire
