Work as a Housing Maintenance Worker for 'Namgis First Nation in Alert Bay. This full time opportunity involves tenant support and maintaining accurate maintenance records.

You will report to the Housing Manager and collaborate closely with the Clerk to ensure that all maintenance requests are handled efficiently. This includes interacting directly with tenants, conducting risk assessments, and maintaining comprehensive documentation. Required training and on-call support responsibilities are part of this important role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Liaise with Housing Manager on maintenance issues
• Facilitate sustainable housing assessments with tenants
• Perform inspections and prepare tenancy reports
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Provide on-call support to the Housing department

Requirements:
• Grade 12 education or equivalent preferred
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Background in maintenance or trades preferred
• Required criminal record check and vulnerable sector search
