Become a key player at JDS Energy & Mining as a CAD Designer for Civil and Mining Projects in Vancouver, BC or through site rotations. This full time role is pivotal in developing detailed designs and models for complex infrastructure.

The Civil CAD Designer will collaborate with engineering and construction teams to produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings for mining sites and civil infrastructure developments. You will ensure the safety and effectiveness of projects while maintaining high standards of quality through communication and precise documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and revise detailed 2D and 3D design drawings
• Develop grading, drainage systems, and site layouts
• Produce construction documents and profiles for projects




• Engage with multidisciplinary teams for integrated design solution
• Ensure compliance with drafting standards and document control

Requirements:
• Extensive CAD design experience, ideally in mining
• Competency with drafting standards and management procedures
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail in engineering revisions
• Active participation in quality assurance processes
