About the Role Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Industrial Engineering Technician to support their operations in Kimberley . This role involves assisting Industrial Engineers in data collection, process analysis, and the implementation of efficiency improvements. You will play a crucial part in ensuring that production lines run smoothly and effectively, contributing to the overall operational success of the facility. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, possesses solid observational skills, and is eager to learn and grow within the field of industrial engineering.
Key Responsibilities Assist in conducting time studies, workflow analysis, and data collection for process improvement initiatives.
Support the implementation of Lean manufacturing tools and techniques on the shop floor.
Help maintain and update process documentation, including SOPs and work instructions.
Troubleshoot minor process issues and report findings to the engineering team.
Monitor production metrics and assist in generating performance reports.




Collaborate with production staff to ensure adherence to established processes and safety standards.
Requirements Diploma or relevant certification in Industrial Engineering Technology or a related technical field.
1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
Basic understanding of industrial engineering principles and Lean methodologies .
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel for data entry and basic analysis.
Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork.
