Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Electrical Engineer - Senior in the Engineering Consulting in Calgary, Alberta. The Calgary team is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer. Responsibilities: Develop conceptual designs, studies, reports and proposals and ensure effective communication within project teams and with client engineer
Report to Area Project Engineering Manager for project issues and to the overall Electrical Lead for functional issues
Visit project sites and other design offices for project related activities as required
Lead a team of Electrical Engineers,



Designers and CAD personnel in the successful execution of electrical engineering and design for mining/mineral processing within budget and on schedule
Provide technical leadership and guidance for the electrical team and mentor engineers-in-training and designers
Prepare and check calculations as required and prepare electrical equipment specification packages
Check vendor drawings and data for compliance with specifications and prepare detailed design, supply, construction and installation specifications
Successful candidates will have: Engineer with 12+ years of relevant experience - preferably in an EPCM setting for industrial projects
Engineering degree and registered as a Professional Engineer with the P.E.O or another Canadian Professional Engineering Association
Knowledge of industry, regulatory codes and standards
Proficient with the following electrical design tools and software: SPEL, ETAP, SKM, EasyPower and ASPEN
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multi disciplinary teams
