The Superintendent leads the construction process for large-scale industrial and commercial projects, ensuring all activities align with the established design, budget, and schedule. This role involves planning, scheduling, organizing, directing, and controlling all on-site construction activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large industrial or commercial building projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.This role requires rotating travel across Canada, primarily in Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario on a 10 days on/4 days off schedule.Key Responsibilities
Field and site management of the project(s) and all project activities.Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work workplace.Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.Lead site meetings, maintain clear communication, and resolve conflicts or challenges as they ariseWork closely with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to maintain open communication,



anticipate challenges, and meet project requirementsManage and motivate site crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to align with project timelines and standards.Manage resources effectively, including labor, materials, and equipment.Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local building codes and regulationsRequired Experience And Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in construction site managementSkilled Trade Certification preferredAbility to travel within the countryAbility to travel to US (dual citizenship) is an assetRequired Skills And Knowledge
Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite (Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Teams).Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.Robust delegation skills with the ability to set expectations and monitor progress.Valuable physical condition and stamina.
