Providing technical leadership on client projectsLeading technical teams to deliver projects on time and on budgetDefining technical architectures and solutionsWorking with business users to define requirements for current application functionalityDeveloping, testing, supporting and maintaining all code for client applicationsAnalysing data and creating reports for clients, incorporating all findingsMentorship, training and potentially management of junior and mid-level developersExperience and skills required:




5+ years kdb+ development experienceExperience of defining and implementing kdb+ architecturesProven delivery of technical solutions to appropriate standards and methodologiesIn-depth knowledge of creating and maintaining kdb+ solutionsExperience delivering technical solutions in unix/linux environmentDemonstratable technical leadership and decision makingExperience communicating and liaising with key stakeholdersExcellent communication skills and capable of tailoring to the audienceDesire to improve technically and maintain up to date with the latest advancesExperience of working and delivering solutions in Capital Markets/Investment BankingCloud architecture and development experience is a plus but not essentialMinimum 3.5 GPA in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or any other scientific/engineering discipline.Experience and skills desired*:
Contributes to company ecosystemExperience of other programming languages e.G. PythonCloud development and architecture experienceExperience of other data solutions, specifically Time Series Experience in an investment bank or large financial organisationPeople management experience
