Become a key part of P&H; Milling as a full time Laboratory Technician in Springbrook, Alberta. Ensure product quality through detailed laboratory testing and analysis. This role demands careful documentation and collaboration with the Quality Assurance team to guarantee compliance with food safety standards. You’ll have the chance to engage in proactive quality monitoring while working with cutting-edge laboratory equipment. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality tests on wheat and flour
- Document and analyze testing results
- Troubleshoot and make necessary corrective actions
- Maintain laboratory equipment and standards
- Support audits and maintain Supplier Approval program Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in a related field such as Food Science
- Basic understanding of CFIA and GFSI compliance
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to lift weights up to 22.7 kg (50 lbs)
