Our client is a Multi-National Canadian Icon and they are looking to hire an Accountant - IFRS 17 on a full-time basis. The role has great mentorship and is in office once per week at most. As the Accountant – IFRS 17, you will be responsible for various duties including, but not limited to,
Preparing monthly financial statements and quarterly financial statements with associated support/back-up
Assist in the preparation of consolidated internal and external financial statements
Reconcile complex balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies
To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications;
CPA or in progress, preference for specific IFRS 17 experience
Proven ability to demonstrate independence and accountability of work in a remote culture
Solid communication skills [written and verbal].
