As a key leader in the Vancouver School Board, this position will guide the maintenance and operational oversight of the District’s mechanical systems. Working under the Senior Manager, you will manage a team ensuring that safety and efficiency are prioritized in all initiatives. Your strategic oversight will ensure the reliable performance of facilities supporting education and community services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Direct maintenance, repair, and operational strategies
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety practices
• Lead capacity development for workforce and technical staff




• Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Implement capital planning and project oversight

Requirements:
• At least seven years in facilities maintenance
• Minimum three years of supervisory experience
• Background in managing complex institutional environments
• Robust interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
• Red Seal or relevant technical certification preferred
