Lead customer service efforts in our Meat Department as an Assistant Department Manager. Reporting to the Meat Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring operational success.

In this rapid-paced role, you will blend your leadership and communication skills to assist with training and supervising staff. Your focus will be on delivering excellent service, completing custom meat orders, and upholding quality standards in meat preparation. The ideal candidate thrives in managing day-to-day operations while fostering a coaching culture.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver exceptional service to meet customer meat needs
• Supervise team in the Meat Manager’s absence
• Encourage employee development and coaching practices




• Prepare and fulfill customer meat orders
• Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the department

Requirements:
• High School Diploma required
• 12 months of meat retail experience preferred
• Above average communication abilities required
• Ability to multitask and work independently necessary
• Knowledge of Health and Safety practices is beneficial
