We are recruiting an experienced Project Engineer to join our team to support our client in the automotive industry. NOTE: Must be willing and able to travel to the USA, without restrictions, effective on the start date Onsite
RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate, schedule, and track battery testing activities across the facility
Managing battery pack and cell test requests
Monitoring testing
Optimizing resource utilization
Ensuring product development and validation milestones are achieved on schedule
Interface with Product Development and Validation teams to understand current and future testing requirements
Coordinate battery pack and cell testing activities to support product development objectives
Work with test requestors to improve the quality, completeness, and timing of test requests
Develop and maintain test schedules and capacity forecasts aligned with testing plans and program milestones
Optimize utilization of testing resources, including test channels, equipment, and laboratory capacity
Monitor testing progress, throughput, equipment utilization, and issue resolution
Identify and mitigate project and operational risks that may impact testing schedules or deliverables
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, remove roadblocks, and develop recovery plans
Capture and implement lessons learned to improve testing processes and project execution
Provide regular reporting on test status, resource utilization, and key performance metrics
Escalate critical issues and risks to management as required




REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 5 years of experience in Engineering Project Management
Solid project management, planning, and organizational skills
Ability to coordinate activities across multiple cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Experience managing schedules, priorities, and technical workflows in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication, problem-solving, and issue-resolution capabilities
Experience in battery testing, product development, validation, laboratory operations, or related engineering fields is an asset
Highly organized, proactive engineer who can effectively manage competing priorities, drive execution, and ensure battery testing programs are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS $39.00 - $43.00/hour (depending on experience)
Paid Benefits after 90 days (individual and family) – extended medical, out-of-country coverage, dental etc.
Pension eligibility, with employer match, after 1 full year of work (open enrollment every October)
