Pharmasave West is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Regional Pharmacy Coordinator to join our Pharmacy team. This full-time permanent role is responsible for driving store performance and maximizing member success through the optimization of pharmacy operations, workflow efficiency, staff development, and the implementation of professional programs and services. Reporting to the Region Manager, Pharmacy & Professional Affairs, the successful candidate will work closely with store owners, managers, and regional teams to achieve business goals and objectives.

Where you will be working:

- Field and Home-office based
- Regular travel to Pharmasave West locations in Alberta and Saskatchewan
- Occasional travel to Pharmasave West Langley office and to meetings/events across Canada

Role Overview The Regional Pharmacy Coordinator supports Pharmasave member stores by providing pharmacy operations expertise, training, and program support to enhance patient care, improve pharmacy performance and drive business success. Working closely with store teams and regional teams, the role helps optimize workflows, enhance professional services, and support operational excellence across the region.

Key Responsibilities

- Support and promote Pharmasave professional programs and services across member stores.




- Partner with store teams and the Regional Operations team to improve program adoption and pharmacy performance.
- Provide on-site and virtual operational support to pharmacy owners, managers, and teams.
- Analyze pharmacy operations and recommend improvements in workflow, reimbursement, inventory management, compliance, and technology utilization.
- Support new store openings, ownership transitions, and operational change initiatives.
- Act as a subject matter expert by responding to pharmacy operational questions and sharing best practices.
- Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, Merchandising, and Store Planning teams to support business growth initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with pharmacy organizations, educational institutions, and industry partners.
- Deliver training and support for regional and national pharmacy initiatives.
- Assist with pharmacy student and pharmacy technician recruitment activities.
- Track and report on store support activities and contribute to regional performance goals.
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Competencies

- A Pharmacy Technician license or Pharmacy Assistant designation with a minimum of 3 years of community pharmacy experience
- Knowledge of Kroll Pharmacy Management Software, including workflow, professional modules, and reporting tools
- Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Sound judgment and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- A positive, self-motivated, and customer-focused mindset
- Ability to travel regularly throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan and occasionally across Canada, including overnight stays
- Must have reliable transportation to travel between store locations within the assigned territory
