We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our Toddler room. Responsibilities

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth for children.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Observe and assess each child's progress, documenting developmental milestones and communicating with families regularly.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards and best practices.
- Support children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education accommodations or assistance with disabilities.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incident reports, and other documentation necessary for compliance and program evaluation.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families,



and community partners to ensure a supportive educational experience.

Requirements

- Valid registration as an Early Childhood Educator with the appropriate licensing body.
- Proven experience working with young children in classroom settings or similar environments.
- Knowledge of child development principles, early childhood education practices, and special education strategies.
- Bilingual abilities in English and French are highly desirable to support diverse communities.
- Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—to effectively engage with children, families, and team members.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom activities, documentation, and time efficiently.
- Proficiency in computer operation including basic computer skills for record keeping and communication tools.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is an asset.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to guide children’s learning experiences confidently.

Pay: $26.00 per hour

Education

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

Experience:
- Classroom: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:
- College of ECE (required)
- First Aid Certification (required)
