This provides RCS with the unique opportunity to service their clients effectively across Western Canada with future ambitions to expand east!Roles & Responsibilities:Coordinate and supervise all on-site daily construction activities and report to Project Manager & Sr. Management.Prepare and maintain construction schedules, order materials,



and schedule trades & vendors as requiredMaintain positive relationships with all project stakeholders & trade partnersDelegate and direct all field personnel and subtrades to achieve schedule while maintaining quality workmanshipRead and accurately interpret blue prints for detail and constructabilityAssist Project Manager with all budgeting and change managementAttend Pre-Construction, Kick-Off and ongoing project meetings with Project ManagerPerform carpentry and general labour as requiredEnsure implementation and monitoring of RCS’s safety program on an ongoing basis utilizing existing software and technologyRequirements:Minimum of 5 years construction experience in a supervisory position in the commercial construction industryHold a valid Journeyman trade certificate, civil engineering technology diploma or similar work experienceA valid class 5 driver’s licenseRequires the ability to successfully obtain a transparent Criminal Record Check (this can be obtained after the successful candidate is chosen.)Ability to travel up to 50% of the time throughout AlbertaDesired Skills:High aptitude for learning, ideally with future career aspirations to move up in the companyWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, and OutlookStrong attention to detail, organization, and time management abilitiesEffective typing and professional verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in reading and interpreting specifications, RFI’s, CO’s etc.Goal-oriented, work well under pressure and can meet demanding deadlinesAbility to coordinate off-hours projects alongside existing tenants in any given scenarioStrong client service skills with a focus on client satisfactionPLEASE NOTE: Applications with a cover letter and references will be highly regarded.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:Dental careDisability insuranceExtended health careLife insuranceOn-site parkingPaid time offVision careExperience:Commercial construction: 5 years (required)Willingness to travel:50% (required)Work Location: On the road
