Requirements

- Licensing: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (DZ or AZ) with a clean Driver’s Abstract and CVOR.
- Driving Experience: Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience (or completion of an accredited truck driving school program).
- Equipment Operation: Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy commercial collection vehicles and hydraulic packer systems.
- Safety Commitment: Ability to successfully satisfy all company standards for safety-sensitive operational roles.
- Reliability: Strong attendance record and flexibility to support early morning start schedules and operational overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

- Safe Fleet Operation: Safely operate a Roll Off truck along assigned routes.
- Safety Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections daily and complete required trip logs and paperwork.
- Curbside Collection: Collect residential waste and recycling materials in strict accordance with route schedules and corporate safety protocols.




- System Operations: Skillfully operate hydraulic and compaction systems using proper techniques to prevent equipment damage.
- Reporting &
- Maintenance: Promptly report any mechanical write-ups, route hazards, or safety incidents to management.
- Service Quality: Maintain high route productivity, customer service standards, and vehicle cleanliness.
- Regulatory Compliance: Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, municipal bylaws, company safety policies, and required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with Helpers and Terminal Supervisors to support smooth, efficient daily operations.
- Additional Duties: Perform other operational duties as assigned by leadership.
