Sarens Canada is currently recruiting for a Project Engineer based in our Fort Saskatchewan office. This is a full time permanent position reporting to the Branch Manager.

As a Project Engineer you will be tasked with ensuring that the maintenance department at Sarens Canada is provided with exceptional service. Specifically, you will be tasked with:

- Design and develop engineering drawings, such as lifting plans, rigging plans and transport arrangements
- Produce equipment calculations and operational procedures
- Stamp Drawings according to requirements and design
- Supervise On-site operations if required
- Responsible for executing engineering on site





The ideal candidate will have the following technical capabilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or civil engineering or equivalent experience
- Professional Engineer, Licensed in Ontario, or any other Engineering Order in Canada
- 1 - 5 years' of experience as a project engineer or project manager in the heavy lifting industry, crane or transportation.
- Strong experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experienced with industry standards, regulations, and best practices
- 3D software knowledge
