As a Senior Principal Engineer, your expertise will guide major projects in tailings and mine waste management. You will be an essential figure in shaping strategic initiatives, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and mentoring the next generation of engineers in a collaborative workplace. Act as a trusted advisor while leading multidisciplinary teams to drive effective engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee complex tailings storage and safety initiatives • Shape strategic direction of WSP’s engineering practices • Lead project proposals and business development efforts • Collaborate effectively across project teams nationwide • Mentor and support the development of junior engineers

Requirements: • 15+ years’ experience in mining or related fields • P.Eng. designation with regulatory eligibility • Comprehensive knowledge of tailings management • Established network in the mining industry • Engaged in current industry practices and innovations
