Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team at Mph Canada First Tower. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge in data science methodologies and techniques, with a proven ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights. This role is critical in driving data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement advanced analytical models to solve business problems and enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and provide insights that support strategic initiatives.
- Utilize statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to interpret and analyze large data sets.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through explicit and concise reports and presentations.
- Continuously monitor and improve data quality and integrity across various data sources.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data science and analytics.
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts in best practices and methodologies.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong knowledge of data science principles, including statistical analysis, machine learning, and data mining.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and model development.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present data insights effectively.
- Solid understanding of database management and querying languages (e.g., SQL).
- Ability to work with large datasets and perform data wrangling and preprocessing.




- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.

Preferred Skills

- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Experience in deploying machine learning models in production environments.
- Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) techniques.
- Understanding of business intelligence concepts and tools.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
