Senior Enablement Trainer (Lead Facilitator)

Location: Calgary, AB | Type: Contract (6 months) | Setup: Hybrid | Experience: Senior | Pay: Up to $80/hr

About the Role

You'll be the lead facilitator on a Microsoft 365 Copilot enablement program, running the workshops where business teams figure out what Copilot is actually good for in their day to day, then teaching them how to do it. Discovery sessions, persona-based training, executive coaching, and a technical track for super users all sit with you.

The client is an AI-first consulting firm that helps energy and industrial companies modernize their data and put AI into everyday use. This role sits on their change management team, so adoption is the scoreboard, not attendance.

If you've sat through Copilot trainings that were really just feature tours, you already know why this role exists. The job is getting people to change how they work, which means you need to be able to open the app, break it, and fix it in front of the room.

What You'll Do

- Run open-ended discovery and validation workshops with business SMEs, turning messy real-world workflows into concrete, validated AI use cases
- Deliver persona-based training across very different business functions, adjusting the content for each audience
- Demo live across Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Copilot Chat, and troubleshoot on the spot
- Own the train-the-trainer track: certify internal champions and coach them until they can facilitate without you
- Coach senior leaders one on one,



advising on where Copilot fits their work rather than walking them through menus
- Teach the hands-on technical curriculum, including building Copilot agents, to advanced super users
- Hand workshop findings to the instructional designer and set up the junior trainer to run follow-on sessions

Qualifications

- Deep, hands-on Microsoft 365 Copilot expertise across the full app suite, plus working knowledge of Copilot agents
- A track record facilitating AI use-case workshops, not just delivering fixed curriculum
- Proven train-the-trainer and certification delivery, with champions who went on to facilitate independently
- Executive presence: credible and polished in one-to-one sessions with senior leaders, with the business fluency to advise
- Solid adult-learning foundations and real comfort in front of large, mixed-ability groups
- Enough technical depth to teach agent building to advanced users

Nice to Have

- Change management background, ideally Prosci / ADKAR or a comparable framework
- Time spent in enterprise, energy, oil and gas, or industrial environments so your discovery questions land with credibility
