As part of Wealthsimple's Brokerage Operations team, this role involves managing and scaling ledger processes, reporting to the Director of Brokerage Account Operations. Your core responsibilities will revolve around ensuring audit readiness and operational accuracy while leading cross-functional efforts. You will be instrumental in automating workflows and mentoring team members to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:



• Ensure correct journal entries and client transaction reporting • Investigate anomalies and implement long-term solutions • Coordinate audits and maintain thorough documentation • Monitor asset transfers and address exceptions promptly • Design process improvements to reduce manual tasks

Requirements: • Minimum 5 years in brokerage or finance operations • Hands-on general ledger experience required • Solid communication skills across technical teams • Knowledge in regulatory frameworks, such as MFRs • Familiarity with Oracle GL or NetSuite is a bonus
