SecOps Engineer with strong expertise in Git, Git

Hub, Bitbucket, CI/CD, source code management, and Dev

SecOps practices.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting source code repository migrations and SCM platform transitions , along with solid scripting and troubleshooting capabilities.

The successful candidate will work closely with development, Dev

Ops, security, and platform teams to analyze repositories, assess migration readiness, support CI/CD pipeline migrations, troubleshoot integration issues, and automate repository analysis and migration activities.

Roles & Responsibilities Analyze Bitbucket and Git

Hub repositories, including branching strategies, permissions, configurations, and integrations.

Support application-to-repository mapping and conduct migration readiness assessments.

Execute repository analysis, validation, and migration support activities.

Identify repository dependencies, build configurations, webhooks, and CI/CD pipeline integrations.

Support migration and validation of CI/CD pipelines to Git

Hub-compatible workflows.

Troubleshoot migration-related issues involving repositories, permissions, integrations, and pipelines.

Develop scripts and utilities for metadata extraction, repository validation, and migration automation.

Analyze repository integrations, build tools, artifact repositories, and associated security controls.

Collaborate with developers, Dev

Ops, security, and platform engineering teams to resolve technical issues.

Document findings, migration risks, dependencies, remediation plans, and technical recommendations.

Support repository and pipeline validation before and after migration.





Contribute to improving migration processes, automation, and Dev

SecOps best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Dev

Ops, Platform Engineering, SCM Administration, or Release Engineering; 10+ years preferred.

Strong hands-on experience with Git, Git

Hub, and Bitbucket .

Proven experience supporting source code repository migrations or SCM platform transitions.

Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and Dev

SecOps practices .

Hands-on experience with Git

Hub Actions, Jenkins , or equivalent CI/CD platforms.

Proficiency in scripting or programming using Python, Bash, Power

Shell, or Groovy .

Strong understanding of repository integrations, build configurations, artifact repositories, and security controls.

Experience troubleshooting repository, pipeline, permission, and integration issues.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with development, Dev

Ops, security, and platform teams.

Preferred Skills Experience with large-scale Git

Hub or Bitbucket migrations.

Knowledge of Git

Hub repository administration, permissions, organizations, and branch protection.

Experience with CI/CD migration and pipeline modernization.

Understanding of Dev

SecOps security practices and source code security controls.

Experience developing automation scripts and migration utilities.

Familiarity with enterprise SCM governance and repository management.
