About the Opportunity A well-established and growing mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced Director of Construction to provide strategic leadership across multiplemercial, institutional, and industrial projects.

This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for overseeing construction operations, developing high-performing teams, driving operational excellence, and ensuring successful project delivery from pre-construction through close-out.

Salary & Benefits: $180,000 - $230,000 base salary Pension/RRSP program Cell phone and laptop provided Paid vacation and personal days Ideal Candidate: Mechanical construction leader with a strong background in plumbing, HVAC, or piping systems Proven experience managing project managers, site supervisors, and field operations teams Strongmercial acumen with the ability to drive profitability and operational performance Experienced delivering large-scale construction projects from planning through warranty Role Requirements: 10+ years of mechanical construction experience 5+ years in a senior leadership or operations management role Solid understanding of project delivery, scheduling, estimating, forecasting, and risk management Ability to interpret drawings, specifications,



and construction contracts Experience leadingmercial, institutional, or industrial projects Plumbing trade background, plumbing licence, or significant plumbing construction experience strongly preferred Key Responsibilities: Lead all construction operations across multiple projects Oversee project performance, budgets, schedules, safety, and quality standards Mentor and develop Project Managers, Coordinators, and Site Supervisors Drive operational improvements, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives Manage client relationships and act as the senior escalation point for project issues Support recruitment, workforce planning, and team development Collaborate with estimating, VDC, prefabrication, and accounting teams Ensure accurate forecasting, margin protection, and project profitability Why Join?
