Position Summary Are you a skilled Maintenance Worker seeking a relief part time opportunity in the serene town of Kaslo, BC? We're hiring a Maintenance Worker V to join our team at the Victorian Community Health Centre.

Your role: As a Maintenance Worker V, you will play an important role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of our facility. Working under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll perform skilled trades work approaching the journeyman level in areas such as electrical, plumbing, painting, and general building maintenance, while also providing guidance and support to Maintenance Workers and other designated staff. Your responsibilities will include constructing and repairing walls, floors, ceilings, windows, furniture, and cabinetry, as well as completing plastering, painting, and finishing work for renovations and ongoing maintenance. You’ll also perform electrical and mechanical repairs on facility and plant equipment, helping to ensure systems and operations continue to run smoothly and efficiently.

Position details: This is a relief part time (0.63FTE) position working Friday to Sunday day shifts from 07:00 to 15:00.

Qualfications

Grade 10, plus four years’ recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License required.
