Job Description Job Title: Area Manager, Recycling Operations Location: Brampton, Ontario or Kitchener, Ontario, Canada (relocation assistance available) Base Salary: CAD $180,000 to $210,000 per year Industry: Renewables & Environment Job Category: General Management Position Summary Manages the productivity, financial, and overall performance of multiple recycling operating units.

Ensures operating units meet or exceed annual objectives and successfully implement organizational initiatives.

Responsibilities Develop and implement the Area''s recycling operating plans, consistent with long-range objectives, to enhance effectiveness and delineate responsibilities and authority Counsel managers on the execution of programs, processes, and initiatives, and provide direction for modified work plans or contingency plans when necessary Oversee human resource needs, including selecting, coaching, training, and evaluating employees; provide input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions Facilitate regular Profit and Loss (P&L;) reviews and execute action plans to improve equipment and facility utilization, equipment maintenance, and labor and material costs Conduct regular cost of goods sold (COGS) reviews to ensure plants maintain or improve gross margin spread as COGS fluctuate Implement and maintain programs to improve safety, productivity, and profitability; ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other applicable regulations; conduct regular site safety reviews with plant managers and supervisors Qualifications Bachelor''s degree 4 years of relevant work experience Valid driver''s license Available to travel 50% of the time Bilingual (French and English) is an asset Benefits Competitive total compensation package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and short-term disability, plus a stock purchase plan, company RRSP matching,
