Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing finance team.

This role will be responsible for financial reporting, period-end close, reconciliations, compliance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines solid technical accounting expertise with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Accounting Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.

Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS.

Review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.

Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and reporting processes.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.

Cash Management, Audit & Compliance Monitor banking activity and support cash flow reporting.

Oversee payment controls and investigate discrepancies.





Prepare GST/PST filings and maintain supporting schedules.

Coordinate year-end audit requirements and liaise with external auditors.

Maintain audit-ready documentation and regulatory compliance.

Process Improvement & Systems Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency.

Support financial systems administration, upgrades, and testing.

Develop and maintain accounting procedures and documentation.

Assist with finance transformation and automation initiatives.

Cross-Functional Support Partner with AP, AR, payroll, and operational teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

Provide financial insights and reporting support to management.

Mentor junior team members and review work as required.

Support finance leadership with special projects and strategic initiatives.
