This role requires a highly proactive and commercially assertive sales leader who can create momentum and drive opportunities forward in competitive environments.You will:
Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunitiesProspect strategically and proactively across targeted marketsDevelop relationships with executive decision-makers and operational leadersLead complex sales pursuits from qualification through negotiation and closeNavigate sophisticated procurement and RFP environmentsCoordinate internal teams to develop compelling client solutions and proposalsMaintain strong opportunity management discipline, forecasting accuracy, and CRM hygieneThis role requires someone who is comfortable:
Creating urgency and advancing opportunitiesManaging competitive pressureChallenging client thinking professionally and constructivelyOperating independently while driving accountability internally and externallyStrong Indigenous engagement is critical within the Energy & Resources sector.This role requires someone who understands that partnership development is built through consistency, respect, credibility, patience, and long-term relationship building - not transactional sales behavior.You will:
Build and maintain respectful relationships with First Nations, Métis, Inuit, and Indigenous business partnersSupport partnership development aligned with client and regional expectationsParticipate in long-term relationship and community engagement initiativesRepresent Sodexo professionally and credibly in all stakeholder interactionsWork collaboratively with Indigenous partners in support of shared opportunity developmentThis aspect of the role requires humility, strong listening skills, cultural awareness, emotional intelligence, and relationship maturity.What You'll Need to Succeed:
7+ years of successful quota-carrying business development experienceProven track record winning complex, multi-year service or outsourcing contractsExperience selling outsourced operational services, facilities management, hospitality, workforce accommodation,



industrial support services, or other complex B2B solutionsDemonstrated success developing new business in competitive environmentsExperience managing sophisticated RFP and solution-based sales processesExperience within mining, energy, industrial, remote-site operations, or related sectors is considered a strong asset, but not requiredFully bilingual in French and EnglishStrong executive communication and presentation skillsHigh level of professionalism and business acumenStrong negotiation and closing capabilitiesProficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)Strong Microsoft Office capabilities including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and OutlookAbility to travel regularly across Quebec and other target regions (approximately 30-40%)Professional strengths:
