This newly created role is pivotal in enhancing the company's reputation, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and supporting business objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for external and internal communications, brand and reputation management, and will play a key role in issues and crisis communications. The Head of Communications will also be involved in managing corporate events, and will be expected to provide strategic communications advice to ensure that all messaging is in line with the company's brand and business priorities.The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 8 years' experience in corporate communications, media relations,



or related roles, preferably within a publicly listed mining or extractive industry company. Solid knowledge of corporate communications, media relations, internal communications, and reputation management practices is essential. The role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to manage ambiguity, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. The candidate should be adept at building strong, collaborative relationships and have a continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to adapt communication approaches to meet evolving business needs.
