Job Description:

Your primary responsibilities will be to safely set up, clean up, and attend to processes and equipment so they operate correctly and produce desired results according to various specifications. You must maintain strong focus to ensure quality control as you examine outputs and confirm compliance with standards. You must understand output goals to meet KPI targets while maintaining all quality requirements. After completing training and gaining experience,



you may be assigned to peer-train and mentor future employees by explaining things thoroughly and monitoring progress carefully.

Requirements and Qualifications:

· Maintain a safe and clean work environment by promoting safe work practices, diligent housekeeping and ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.

· You will be expected to work shift work (day, afternoon, and night shift), stand on your feet for a prolonged amount of time and need to bend, lift (up to 9 kg), carry, and stretch to perform your duties.

· Possess a willingness to be trained on new equipment and techniques.

· Explicit and detailed communication is required, as you need to be able to clearly explain your problems or give instructions to others involved in keeping operations running smoothly.

· Working independently and as part of a team, as well as performing the job in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision, is essential.

· Methodical problem-solving approach to handle challenges when problems develop with the production lines or if deadlines are approaching.

· Arrive on time, stay on task and take pride in your job to contribute to better output and reach production goals.

· Some computer competency is required, as sometimes production operators must enter data into the company’s various electronic systems.

· Highly motivated and disciplined; strong prioritization skills, time management, attention to detail, and analytical and problem-solving ability.

· Team player with a positive and cooperative style.





· Good understanding of general production methods and lean manufacturing principles.

· Completed high school education.

Hourly wage: $31.13 to $35.04 per hour, plus applicable shift premiums and overtime pay in accordance with company policy and Ontario employment standards.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Machine Operator: 2 years (preferred)
