Sullivan + Associates Clinical Psychology is looking for an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our Psychological Assessment Department.
This position provides administrative support to a busy team that coordinates psychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults, including ADHD, autism, psychoeducational, mental health, and other specialized assessments.
The successful candidate will work alongside our Assessment Team, psychologists, psychological associates, and psychometrists to help keep assessments organized and moving efficiently from initial referral through testing, report completion, and feedback.
If you are highly organized, enjoy working with people, pay attention to details, and are good at keeping track of multiple tasks at once, this may be a outstanding fit.
What You'll Be Doing
Responsibilities will include:
· Assisting with new psychological assessment referrals
· Communicating with clients, parents, schools, clinicians, and referral sources
· Scheduling assessment appointments, interviews, testing, and feedback sessions
· Helping ensure consent forms and assessment questionnaires are completed
· Following up with clients regarding outstanding forms or information
· Assisting with psychologist and psychometrist scheduling
· Updating client files and assessment records
· Tracking where clients are within the assessment process
· Helping prepare and organize assessment documentation
· Monitoring outstanding administrative tasks and following up when needed
· Answering client questions and directing clinical questions to the appropriate team member
· Providing general administrative support to the Assessment Department
The Person We're Looking For
You do not need previous experience in psychology or mental health.
We're looking for someone who is:
Highly organized and dependable
· Detail-oriented
· Friendly and professional when communicating with clients
· Comfortable working with children, parents, healthcare professionals, and other referral sources
· Good at following established processes and procedures
· Able to manage several tasks and priorities at the same time
· Strong at following through and completing tasks
· Comfortable learning new computer systems and technology
· Able to work independently while also being part of a team
Previous experience in administration, healthcare, psychology, medical offices, or another detail-oriented environment would be an asset, but is not required.
Comfortable With Technology
Sullivan + Associates is actively modernizing and automating many of our administrative systems.
Our Assessment Department uses technology to assist with questionnaires, reminders, assessment tracking, documentation, and administrative follow-up.
You do not need to be an AI or technology expert. You should, however, be comfortable learning new systems and working in an environment where technology and administrative processes continue to evolve.
