We are looking for innovative, ambitious and high energy Personal Support Workers to provide care to the residents of a Long-Term Care home in compliance with internal policies and professional standards of practice.

What will you do?

- Assist person(s) with activities of daily living such as feeding, lifts and transfers, bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, and toileting, in accordance with established Plan of Care.
- Assist with medication reminders to person(s) in accordance with internal and government policies.
- Continuously observe person(s) and their environments, and report and document unsafe conditions and behavioral, physical, and / or cognitive changes to an appropriate supervisor.
- Communicate and demonstrate basic information to resident/s in relation to activities of daily living, in accordance with established Plan of Care.
- Complete and maintain related records and documentation.

What do you need to succeed?

- Personal Support Worker certificate from an accredited program.
- Nursing Student.
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Screening.
- Current CPR certificate HCP level.
- Complete Immunizations record.
- N95 Mask Fit Certificate
- Experience working in a long-term care sector preferred.
- Flexibility in hours and ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Access to a vehicle.
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
