Now Hiring: Floorhands – Rod Rig Operations | Alberta

Amped Energy is hiring reliable, safety-focused Floorhands to join our Rod Rig crews working throughout Alberta.

This is a physically demanding field position suited to hardworking individuals who take pride in teamwork, safe work practices, and getting the job done right.

Responsibilities

- Assist with daily rod rig and well-servicing operations
- Handle rods, tubing, tools, and related equipment safely
- Rig up and rig down equipment as directed by the Driller or Rig Manager
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lease site
- Perform general labour, equipment cleaning, and basic maintenance
- Follow all company policies, customer requirements, and Alberta safety regulations
- Participate in tailgate meetings, hazard assessments, and safety training

Requirements

- Previous rod rig, service rig, drilling, or oilfield labour experience is an asset




- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence; clean driver’s abstract preferred
- Current H2S Alive and Standard First Aid/CPR certifications required
- Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Willingness to work long hours, rotational schedules, and travel throughout Alberta
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to safety
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including drug and alcohol screening
