We are seeking a passionate and energetic Teacher for Children to inspire and nurture young minds. In this vibrant role, you will create engaging learning experiences with music for children in schools.

Duties

- Plan and deliver engaging lessons incorporating the ukulele to stimulate creativity
- Maintain a secure, nurturing environment by practicing childcare best practices and ensuring classroom safety protocols are followed
- Utilize classroom management skills to foster a respectful, inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning and social growth

Requirements

- Experience working with children across various age groups, especially Gr. 1-5 levels
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and childhood development milestones
- Skills in playing musical instruments, especially ukulele (though not exclusively)
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with colleagues and children




- Passion for nurturing children's growth through innovative teaching methods and hands-on experiences

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1.0 – 3.0 per week

Experience:

- child care/teaching: 1 year (preferred)
