Columbus Meat Market is looking for a reliable, friendly, and customer-focused Full time Cashier to join our busy retail butcher shop.

We are looking for someone who is interested in a stable, long-term position and wants to become part of our team. Weekend availability is required, but we are closed on Sundays.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate the cash register and POS system accurately
- Process cash, debit, and credit payments
- Accurately weigh, price, and enter products
- Bag and package customer purchases
- Answer customer questions about products, prices, and availability
- Assist customers with product selection when needed
- Keep the checkout and front retail area clean and organized
- Help stock and organize the retail area
- Work closely with the meat counter and production team
- Assist with general cleaning and other duties as required





What We're Looking For

- Full-time availability
- Weekend availability, including Saturdays
- Looking for a long-term position
- Friendly, reliable, and punctual
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable handling cash and working in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Previous cashier or customer service experience is an asset
- Training provided
