Position Profile: The Executive Director, Nutrition and Food Services, is a key provincial senior leader within the Saskatchewan Health Authority, responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for Nutrition and Food Services across the province. Reporting to the Vice President, Provincial Clinical and Support Services, the Executive Director leads an integrated provincial approach focused on quality, safety, consistency and sustainable service delivery. The role establishes strategic direction and translates provincial priorities into operational and business plans. Key responsibilities include addressing service pressures; optimizing provincial capacity and resources; advancing workforce,



infrastructure and service planning; and supporting consistent standards, practices and service expectations across Saskatchewan. Working closely with clinical and operational leaders, health-care professionals, government, unions, regulatory and educational partners, and other stakeholders, the Executive Director advances innovative and evidence-informed services. The role fosters an inclusive, high-performing culture grounded in the SHA’s CARES values and supports safe, high-quality and patient- and family-centred care.

Qualifications:

- Graduate/ Masters level or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Licensed and in positive standing with professional association and/or regulatory body, if applicable

Experience:

- Extensive experience, at a strategic level, as a leader who has developed and led innovative planning and programs in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment
