Duties

- Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the first hello.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems like Micros POS, and relay orders efficiently to kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks with enthusiasm, ensuring each guest’s experience exceeds expectations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while maintaining proper food safety and food handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, including bar stations and host stations,



adhering to food safety standards.
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to deliver prompt service while balancing multiple tables or guests.
- Assist in setting up dining areas for service, including arranging tables and preparing menus or specials boards as needed.

Qualifications

- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred; familiarity with Micros POS or similar systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing bills efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques to ensure guest safety.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in serving, bartending, or hosting roles within the food industry is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
