Responsibilities

- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently throughout each shift
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, supporting chefs and kitchen staff with basic food handling duties
- Follow proper food safety procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Load and unload dishwashers safely, managing waste disposal and recycling processes responsibly
- Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping,



and sanitizing surfaces regularly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours

Qualifications

- Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
- Strong understanding of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads or bending
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure all items are properly cleaned and sanitized
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Knowledge of basic kitchen operations or cooking experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Commitment to maintaining a hygienic environment that supports food safety regulations
